Explore Tours

Paracas is a national reserve located south of Lima. It is home to the famous and amazing “Ballestas Islands” where you will see a lot of lovely families of sea lions, amazing bird-life and tiny penguins. The atmosphere is great with a big variety of rocky formations and big variety of birds which will change as you see the islands by boat. You’ll also visit the Paracas museum on this tour.

Departures and return details:

All our departures are from/to San Martin Port. If you wish to start or end your tour from different place, you can pre-arrange this in advance.

Departure time:

Departures are everyday at 08:00am, 11:00am and 2:00pm. This tour is 100% flexible and you can combine with the following tours, Ballestas Islands, Tambo Colorado and Nazca Lines from Pisco Airport, if you wish to changes your travel dates, just let us know in advance.

4 hours approximate.

Pick up from your hotel in Paracas. where you will board our shared services tourist bus (fully equipped); During the trip into Paracas Reserve, you will have the opportunity to learn more about Paracas Reserve by visiting the interpretation center, an interesting building that displays through photos, all the fauna, flora, and many others important facts about the Paracas Peninsula. Afterward we will drive throughout a lifeless desert till we reach an area where once stood a great natural rock formation known as the Cathedral. Unfortunately this old formation did not withstand the 2007 earthquake. At this place you will have amazing views of the desert and the blue Ocean. Driving along the shore of the ocean passing the beach of Yumaque. After some time we will arrive in the little fishing village of Lagunillas, where you will the opportunity to enjoy great Peruvian food at any local restaurant. Finally you will return to your hotel. End of the service.
