Day 1. El Callao port – Cusco:
Your adventure begins at 08:00 am. Boarding our vehicle to drive towards Lima airport; arriving at the airport, you will check-in and board your flight to Cusco departing at 11:20. Upon arrival in Cusco (12:50), you will be met by our guide, who will escort you in private to your hotel in Sacred Valley. For the rest of the evening, you can relax and prepare for your next day’s activities. (-/-/-)
Day 2. Machu Picchu:
Leaving early in the morning, you will be escorted to the train station to board the train to Aguas Calientes, departing at 07:00 am. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, you will meet your private guide and take the shuttle to climb the hill towards the marvellous citadel of Machu Picchu. Your guide will lead you through the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Dial, the royal houses, the Temple of the Three Windows and some cemeteries. You will return to the train station in the afternoon and take the train to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival in Ollantaytambo, you will be transferred privately to your hotel in Cusco. You will be free to explore this great city for the rest of your day. (B/-/-)
Day 3. Cusco – El Callao Port
Leaving early in the morning you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Lima departing at 06:05. On your arrival in Lima (07:30) you will be transferred in a private vehicle directly to El Callao port to rejoin your ship at 2:00 pm. (B/-/-)
Travel Documents:
You must bring your passport for this trip and all travel vouchers.
Luggage:
You are only allowed to bring a small hang bag to the cabin. Bring the essentials for two nights. If you have a lot of luggage, you must pay extra costs at the airport.
Pickup and Drop Off.
The pickup time will vary depending on your ship’s arrival at El Callao port, but it will usually be at 08:00 a.m. I suggest you send full details of your ship’s arrival so we can work out the pickup time.
On day 3, you will be dropped off at El Callao port. If you wish to be dropped off at another port, such as Manta, Ecuador, or Coquimbo, Chile, you must contact us to find a new price. Note that you may need to spend a hotel night.
Meeting point:
On your arrival at El Callao Port, you will need to take one of the free shuttle buses for a small ride to the main gate of the Port. At the gate, you must look for our sign ‘LAS ADVENTURE’ followed by your Name. Our guide will take you privately to the airport in Lima, and he will handle your boarding pass for your outbound flight to Cusco. Cusco will apply The same system; you must look for our signature.
Delays:
If your ship arrives late, we strongly suggest contacting us three to four days in advance so we can arrange a new pickup time. We also recommend you keep checking your emails if the pickup time changes.
If the flight from Cusco to Lima is delayed and suddenly you lose the connection to rejoin your ship at San Martin Port, DO NOT PANIC. We will cover all transfers and ensure you get on board to the next port.
Accommodations:
You will stay for two nights in a 5-star hotel in a standard room. If you wish to upgrade your room to a suite, contact us for a new price.
You must present your passport and pre-arrange breakfast for the following day during check-in.
Travel vouchers:
All travel vouchers, such as flight and train tickets, will be given via email. Our staff will handle the printed version.
Communications:
This is very important; you must give us a valid mobile number so we can call you for any updates. We all know it’s hard to get a signal while you are at sea. Please keep your mobile phone on, as we will contact you before your arrival to make the last arrangement via SMS or WhatsApp. Otherwise, it will be challenging to communicate with you.
